Need of the projects

This Project is aimed at Converting Liabilities into Assets ie., the HIV Infected are being liabilities to their own families and to the nation. They must be motivated and given counseling, skill training and guidance for better living and make them self reliant and producers so that they would become assets to the family and nation.
The total estimated population in Tirunelveli District 3,569,898 among them male population 1,764,410 and female population 1,805,488. Among the total population, HIV Infected is approximately 7,000 including Male 4,000, Female 3,000 and Transgenders around 200. It included (CLHIVs) Children Living with HIV is 400. In addition to this, the children of total HIV infected people come around 3000 (The parents are infected with HIV but the children are not infected). These all categories of people are very much in need of our support to become Self Reliant and to get better living opportunities and to get recognition in the society by standing on their own sources. At present, the HIV Infected people are denied for higher education and job opportunities in most of the private sectors and it is a great challenge for them to get Government Jobs as they could not compete with the normal people.
Rehoboth is taking sincere steps in helping the affected people to be aware of all the Government Schemes available for them and helping them to avail the opportunities in a proper way.
Rehoboth is also concerned about the common people to be aware of HIV/AIDS, COVID-19 and how to protect them from such infection and helping them to achieve the goals and fulfill their ambitions of their life.
